This terrific starter set for wood carving consists of a whittling knife and a hook knife, plus a strop and compound. With the whittling knife, you give the shape to your spoon. Then with the hook knife, you cut out the wooden spoon and smooth out surfaces.
Beaver Craft's wood carving tools are made of high carbon steel. Handles are made from Ashwood and covered with linseed oil.
Leather strop with polishing compound are included to keep your blades razor sharp.
Note: This is the kit for left handers - the hook/spoon knife is left handed.
This set is also available with a right handed hook knife (Set Product Code BCS03).
